Introduction

There are a lot of natural products that are available in the market.  In this article we are listing a few of the natural acne remedies that you can use to treat the acne problems.

1. Amaranth:  You can make tea from the amarnath seeds and can use them to wash your face.  In order to make that tea, you would be needing about 3 cups of water in a pot.  Boil the water till it reaches the point of rolling, and after the water is boiled, you need to add about 2 teaspoons of seeds in it.  Cover the pot and allow it to boil for another five minutes.  After five minutes, take off the lid from the pot and then add one teaspoon of leaves and cover the lid for about another five or ten minutes so that it gets the essence of the leaves.

2.Basil:  You can get the basil seed oil from the grocery stores and can apply it directly to your skin.  You can also get the basil herb and you can make facial wash from it.  You need to two add about two to four teaspoons of dried basal leaves in a cup of boiling water, and then allow it to cool for about 10 to 20 minutes, then cool and apply it to the acne areas.

3. Burdock:  Burdock is a herb and is really an effective remedy for the acne problems and other skin related problems that are chronic in nature.  The other name for the burdock herb is Arctium Iappa.  You can make the tea by adding about 1 quart of water the pot and allow it to boil, To make the tea, bring 1 quart of water to a boil, allow the water to bubble, just add about 4 teaspoons of the crushed dried root and cover the lid of the pot and then allow it to boil for about 7 minutes and then allow it to cool for about 2 hours.  After you have gone through the procedure, you can use it as a facial wash.

4.Calendula:  You can make tinctures, lotions and creams from calendula.  You can look for the products that contain herbs in them or you can make the tea of calendula and can use it as a facial wash, as it really soothes the skin.

5.Oregon grape:  The Oregon grape has antibiotic like properties and it also helps to improve the immune system.  The Orgeon grape is also known as Mahonia aquifolium.  You can use the remedy and can use it for about three times in a day such as tea made from dried root about (2-4 grams), tincture (6-12 mL or 1.5-3 teaspoons), fluid extract about (1-2 mL or 0.25 to 0.5 teaspoons), solid powder of about 8-12% alkaloid content about (250-500 mg).

6.Tea:  There are a lot of herbs available from which you can make the tea extract and can use it as a facial wash.  To name some of the herbs from which you can make the tea extracts are aloe, burdock, calendula, chickweed, dandelion, red clover, white oak bark, yellow dock, cayenne, ginseng, Echinacea, sarsaparilla, Redmond clay and valarian.  These are different herbs that can be used to make the acne remedy.

7.Tea Tree Oil:  The Tea Tree Oil is being derived from the leaves of a tree known as Melaleuca alternifolia.  The active ingredients derived from the tree have the antiseptic quality and they are really very effective for the skin and act as a skin disinfectant.  You can use the Tea Tree Oil depending on the severity of the problem and can use about 5-15%.  This remedy is less drying as compared to the benzoyl peroxide.  The Tea Tree Oil just takes longer than the benzoyl peroxide to work.

Make The Right Choice

You must make the right choice for your treatment and must select the product know in detail about the product and your skin type and the extent of the problem that you are going through before you buy out the product.  It is always wise that you get the advice of your dermatologist before you try out anything as they will help you as to what are the products that would work best for you and what are the products that are going to work opposite and would not help you heal.  So your health care provider can help you a great deal in making the right choice for you.

Every Acne Remedy Has Side Effects

You must have this fact in your mind that every acne remedy that you are going to use has the side effects.  Therefore you must know the product and its type before you are to buy that product so that you can have excellent results while using them.

Do Not Rely On Chemical Remedies

You must not rely on the chemical remedies as the chemical remedies have more side effects than the natural remedies that are present in the market.

Don’t Fall For TV Commercials

You must not fall for the TV commercials and must make your own choices in terms of getting the right treatment for you, as there are a whole lot of marketing campaigns that exaggerate the facts and make you believe that their product is the right choice for you, but it might be not because they do not know your skin type or the extent of your problem.  Therefore it is always wise that you consult your dermatologist before you make the decision for yourself.

Summary

You must remember that the natural treatments work really well, but on the other hand, again as been said many times, you must learn about the product as to what ingredients it has and how they work and how it is going to help you with your problem.  So going through all that information is really going to help you make the right decision and you will get the right product for you to help you out with the acne issue.
